Check out www.xenomex.com for more! You should only apply “PEA SIZED” amounts. If you don’t know what a pea is or what it’s size is, then i suggest you google it. A lot of people tend to squeeze out everything onto the CPU thinking that the more you put the better. Well no. The computer that i opened up in the video, the actual main problem was the fact that the pins of the CPU were messed up. Meaning the CPU could never work again. The thermal paste issue was just a side problem. Like our Facebook Page https Follow our Twitter www.twitter.com Check out www.xenomex.com for more!

Yes, or it may be a dual-core, which basically means you have up to two working processors. Added together, you have a total speed of 3Ghz, which is faster than mine. I’m quite jealous now :P

Question by rar_riley: Computer processors and motherboard compatability?
how do you tell if your motherboard is compatable with a processor. I am interested in upgrading my P4 chip with the new dual core. But I don’t have a clue if it’s compatable. How do I tell?

Thanks,

Answer by Rob
Find the website for the manufacturer of your motherboard – that’s really the only way to tell. Depending on the manufacturer, it can be really easy to find a CPU/Mobo compatibility matrix, but sometimes it can be awful. What company makes your motherboard?
